Introducing melon to local communities
With the digital platform „melon“, you can easily enjoy homemade vegan food together with neighbours, friends and collegues. Beyond that, melon shares it office in Munich with the community - the so called „Community space“ -, where cooking sessions, workshops, taks, dinner parties, yoga lessons and much more take place.
Together with Cornelia Weinzierl and Stefan Höglmaier, I co-founded the company and have been their creative director and designer ever since then.

Even though the product itself is digital, melon creates a „local business“ whereever people use the platform - thus, what really matters is the integration of existing communities and culture, rather than trying to replace it. With local and open offices like the „Community Space“ in Giesing, Munich, melon preserves and fosters diversity and creates a space for individual and creative expression.
